Re: My Mosaic

Hey @Snowie 👋

im tired… fatigued as always

and a bit annoyed and irritable. Was planning… looking forward to a day at home today. I got a bit of a lay in cause D is at school camp. But mum asked me to take her to an appointment and felt obliged to do so. We left at 10:30 and only just got home. Sigh

How are you doing?

Re: My Mosaic

Thats a bit annoying @Bow I would have been looking forward to a day at home too especially after how big a day you had yesterday.

Hopefully you can have an afternoon to yourself.

I hope D is enjoying camp. Do you have to pick her up this afternoon or is she on camp for a few days?

Took mum to the shops and gp this morning. She got put on some new meds so had to take all the paperwork back to where she lives and work that out with the nurses.

Finally home, hoping for a quiet afternoon.

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah was just really hanging out for a day at home @Snowie  after big days like yesterday I really need it. Oh well.

D is home this afternoon, so will go down in 1/2hr and get her. They slept at taronga zoo! I sure never had school camps like that when I was little! I can’t even remember a primary school camp.

I’d imagine it would be a process with any changes to your mums meds. Do they not have a doctor on sight?

Re: My Mosaic

Sorry @Bow just had to help D with something.

Thats sounds like a great camp. I hope she enjoyed herself. She might be a bit tired tonight!

No they don't have a Dr on sight. The Dr she sees does make visits to her home but this was something that couldn't really wait, so had to go see him.

Have you got much on tomorrow or can you have a day at home?

I've already told myself I'm going to have a sleep in tomorrow morning. Knowing me I'll be awake at 6am 🤦‍♀️

Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie  D had a good time at camp. Telling me heaps of stories. She is very tired though, didn’t get much sleep.
Also had to sit her down and have a chat about her changing body and what happens. She started developing a while ago and I don’t think it will be long now.

I tried to have a sleep in this morning cause I didn’t have to get up for school run, but of course I was awake at 6am.  Hope your body lets you have a sleep in!

nothing on tomorrow. A day at home will be nice. I’m tired. But nothing new there.

Re: My Mosaic

I'm glad she had a good time on camp @Bow She will probably sleep well tonight!

That talk is very hard to have. I remember having it with D when she was young. It is probably a lot better to talk to her about things then she finds out in other ways.

It's hard, when we really want to sleep in our heads tell us something else.

I really hope you can have a day to yourself tomorrow hon. Just to do what you want to do.

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah I have been meaning to have that chat with her for a couple of weeks @Snowie  but she made a comment this afternoon and I thought oh dear, I best have it now. But yes, best to have her prepared.

are you doing anything tomorrow? I’m so sorry I feel like I have already asked you that? My head is so fuzzy at the moment.

I have a feeling I’ll have my D home tomorrow. She’s already mentioned it and wants a sleep in. I don’t blame her actually. 2 massive days with very little sleep or down time.

Re: My Mosaic

It's a hard talk @Bow but I'm glad she has you hon to help her through it all.

I have the dentist tomorrow afternoon. Have a few fillings I need done. Been putting it off for awhile. Like so many of us, hate the dentist.

Hoping the morning is quiet.

D probably won't be the only one staying home. No doubt there will be quite a few away tomorrow.

I forget that school is still on since S has finished.

Re: My Mosaic

I need to call up and make an appointment with the dentist too @Snowie  depression… poor personal hygiene includes poor oral health unfortunately and I’m starting to have a few aches and pains.
Our new community health dental clinic is at the hospital now and I’m wondering if the happy gas is more of an option now. I’m gonna ask. Cause I just don’t cope.

I don’t know why they had camp at the start of the week and not the end.
