Yes, we have both done hard yards and know the limitations of the system.

I am going to quote you as I think what you said is really important.

" If incoherent then; yes that is right; wait until they are coherent. Allow them time as a human being."

Watching emergency departments switch into heavy handed escalation mode when people are vulnerable is not good.
