Re: Best Friends Club

@Glisten

I'm not having nightmares. I'm trying not to laugh out loud in the room of people sending love to the puppy.

@Glisten you write -

"

@ENKELI @remember I told you about my cat Diego (Greatest cat in the world RIP 🪦

Diegs tried to suffocate my friend’s puppy."

Re: Best Friends Club

@PeppyPatti Diego sounds like a cat after my own heart!

Many years ago mum and I went to the Cat Haven to get a cat for her. Long story short I came home with a cat that had been surrendered at just over 12 months because he was a bit "hard to handle".

His name was Scooby Doo which I promptly changed to Loki, in part to honour my Nordic heritage and his behaviour. The first night he took out the fly screen in the bathroom to escape. The second night he tore out the one inch strip of fly screen in the toilet thinking he could escape from there.
Over the years the carpet was pulled up at every door (yes EVERY door) in my house and I also have the remnants of a red wine stain in the lounge room because he came to fisty cuffs with another cat I adopted. They fought, the bottle toppled and broke, covering the other cat who then took off into my brothers' room.
When he finally went back to annoy the other gods in their realm we buried him and fully expected him to come alive, or at least stick a paw up out of the ground in a "screw you" pose.
I really miss that cat. I think he and Diego were probably related.

Re: Best Friends Club

@Glisten the muffins are semi healthy - blueberry and white choc.

I'm considering going to the urgent care clinic to get some unmentionables for my back. It felt great when I first got up this morning, then I sat at my laptop to churn out some emails and pay some bills (gag!!) and now it's giving me the shivering hits again. If I believed in past lives I'd swear I was a snotty toad that laughed at the misfortunes of others, which is why I am suffering now!!

Wonder if I can take MM with me as my emotional support cat to the clinic....
