Re: General chat

Currently 4 degrees outside yet morning looks nice.  Clear sky with almost no wind.

sunday which traditionally means afternoon with feet on ottoman, bunny rug on my knees with a book (possible at least one cat on or beside me).

very tempted to have a go at putting together one of the small mini brick animals I’ve recently bought.  That means another something started prior to finishing one of the many already partly finished items.  Bad habit which I’m trying to stop

music cd on with lots of songs to sing along to whilst starting to do some much needed housework.  Recently bought wardrobe organises, need to buy some hangars to continue getting all my tops hung up.

you have any plans for today?

Re: General chat

Hi there @Patches59 @Dimity

How are you both going?

Re: General chat

Hello @Patches59 @tyme . Hope you had an easy day. I slumped after doing some chores.

Driving to your paternal hometown sounds a good goal for after your procedures @Patches59 . It's more than 20 years since I last saw the main town I grew up in, where my grandparents also lived. I'm still nostalgic about it. It had changed a lot. But the town I lived in before that had barely changed at all.

Thanks for your thoughts on the banking. I'm overwhelmed by the admin I'll have to do this week - medical, legal, financial. I still haven't done my background reading on the legal stuff.

I've recognised I've been extremely stressed and have been feeling unwell. So I'm reaching out for help. My psychiatrist listens but doesn't counsel. Perhaps he'll adjust the meds for a while. My counsellor promised to research possible avenues of support for my family situation but let me down. I need to get back on track.

Have a good day tomorrow.

Re: General chat

Hey @Dimity ,

Thanks for the tag. I'm so sorry to hear about the banking stuff. It's soooo painful! I once took a few weeks to get mine sorted out because of a scam.

I hope yours gets sorted out okay.

I hear you are not feeling so well. I hope you feel better soon. I know you said your psychiatrist doesn't counsel, have you used SANE Guided Recovery service? https://www.sane.org/referral

Thinking of you.

Re: General chat

I’m fine @tyme

Re: General chat

@Dimity  Only thing I know that has changed in the small county town within the last 70+ years is size of the schools have increased.

understandable you are feeling very stressed and overwhelmed based on things you have shared you are trying to deal with.

hoping appointment today goes well.

hoping you can have relaxing evening with Tiger.

Re: General chat

Text message from hospital this afternoon, week in hospital during which will receive medication via infusion will be from Monday 1 December.  Usual discharge on Saturday morning.  Fingers crossed can collect cats from cattery Monday 8 December in the morning.

need to stop doing nothing every morning and start getting things done.  Too much computer games in the mornings  lol.

Re: General chat

That sounds like everything is falling into place for you @Patches59 which is good.

First step:: a successful procedure in 3 weeks.

I've had a long day. Spoke to council about my problematic home help, had my Telehealth psych appt, chased up the hospital about the waitlist and a follow-up scan, and one of the family helped out  for several hours.

Hope you have a comfortable evening with the pusses..

Re: General chat

Sounds like you have had a busy day @Dimity

hoping you got some positive outcomes or progress with the council and the hospital.  Hoping all went well with your Telehealth appointment.  Can be good to have help with things at times, hoping it was a pleasant and positive outcome for you.

my day started off well with plans to do certain things.  Think I managed to get about 20% done, shortly after breakfast went into ‘can’t be bothered’ mood.  Of well, tomorrow is another day

Re: General chat

computer gaming sounds like a fun distraction hehe @Patches59 how are you feeling about it all? hope there's a bit of relief in knowing that's booked in now.
