Re: Good Morning!

@Dreamy @MissinTooth

I've discovered that Woolworths sell shower steamers (like bath bombs but for the shower) and used one yesterday.

I also like my roll on essential oils, I have one by my bed for my 5 senses grounding exercise, I find it really calming.

Re: Good Morning!

@avant-garde oohh that's awesome that they sell them. I struggle with things like that as the smell is sometimes too strong for me.

Love that you have the essential oils on hand for the 5 senses grounding exercise ❤️

Re: Good Morning!

@Dreamy @MissinTooth

Maybe a pretty smelling room spray? You can actually dilute them as the main ingredient is usually water if it's too strong

I'm also a keen hot chocolate drinker

I like candles but can't have them here

Re: Good Morning!

@avant-garde i have a couple of sprays that I use occasionally but just can't use them too much otherwise I just end up with headaches.

Hot chocolate is yummy to drink 😋.

Candles are nice but the smell gets to me and i also have to be careful of the flickering cos it can trigger seizures for me.

Re: Good Morning!

@Dreamy

Hot chocolate is a big comfort for me in the evenings, especially on a bad day.

Could that possibly be a good self soothe thing for you in the 2 weeks?

Re: Good Morning!

@avant-garde but I can't have them at night time.

Re: Good Morning!

@Dreamy

Ok... I think we need some help...

@tyme do you have any self soothing ideas to help us through the 2 weeks?

Re: Good Morning!

@avant-garde night time i have my colouring but then i usually pack that up about 10-11pm. I listen to music and watch my TV shows but then once I switch everything off and try to sleep or do sleep and then wake up that's when I struggle.

Re: Good Morning!

@Dreamy

That's my struggle time too...

I'm going to see if I can find another audio book series that I can get stuck into

Re: Good Morning!

Hey @Dreamy @avant-garde , it'll be good to check out the links that were in the post. I think there was Monday Mindfulness, Wind Down Wednesdays and a Sleep one?
