Re: Night Shift

Thanks darling. @Ainjoule . I bought a pair for my support worker too. She started having heart palpitations about accepting a gift so I just laughed at her.

How is the week going @Ainjoule ?

Re: Night Shift

Glad to hear some self-care today @TAB . 🙂

I've been thinking about what self-care i might do for myself today, after yesterday was stressful and such a tiring week. 🤔 I struggle with finding self-care that is actually impactful for me, as I'm social-connection oriented. But I can also feel good from knowing I've ticked off my to-do list for the day (short list today - laundry and chemist) once ive done them. And I have a massage today which is sort of "self care" by reducing pain afterwards, but it is painful during the massage so I dont think it *feels* like selfcare/relaxation 😅🤣.

I might combine the chemist with a coffee - either by myself with a book, or wait until some people i know will be at a specific cafe (they go daily at the same time) if i feel like seeing them.

I've been wondering if I should try drawing again as something I might enjoy doing by myself - and I can do either at home or go out.

I think I'd struggle to know what to draw though, so if anyone reading that is a drawer/artist and has insight to how they decide what to draw i'd love to hear!
