Re: Tabaluga's

Morning @StuF, I hope you have a good day.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Meowmy it really is. Sometimes even one day at a time is a bit much so I break it down even smaller whether that be by the hour or even by the minute.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Glisten I'm packing up Paris and getting ready to move in as we speak.

How is your new mattress? Does it make you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud?

How do you feel about Port or Baileys? I am thinking that we need one of these beverages to come up with a plan to start changing the days from mean to mellow for @Dreamy. Sitting around the Ozpig with our notebooks, pens and a glass of something warming.

I feel you have the power to whip these days into line, but a tipple every now and then might help right? 😁🫂

Re: Tabaluga's

@PeppyPatti yes @tyme is amazing 🫂

I love how you're forgetting it wasn't you who found the app. I tried it on a couple of friends but neither of them took the invitation. If I didn't like them so much I would have to drop them lol! 🐥

Re: Tabaluga's

@Bunniekins I love how your mum used to say the same thing! I had never heard the expression before mum said it, how cool is it that our mums said almost the same thing!

It's been over 20 years since I was able to complete anything creative in the way of writing. I tried a few years ago and got the synopsis down, was really enthusiastic and then....nothing.
Like you I would love to go to uni as well but the same, medication, anxiety, BPD2. I did an online course several years back - Introduction to University Learning. I thought this would be a good course to get me back in the saddle. I never completed it and even the incentive of not wasting $600 didn't help.

I like to think that God only gives mental illness to the strong ones. Of course that doesn't always work and I yell at Him and tell Him what I really think of His "only the strong ones" nonsense.

I hope you're having a steady downpour and you're able to do something nice like snuggle in a warm blankey with a good book, game, TV or what ever it is that you enjoy.

Mucho hugs my darling bun bun 🫂💐❤️

Re: Tabaluga's

@ENKELI i don't drink 😂. Never been drunk and my last alcoholic drink was 20 years ago.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Dreamy there were certainly times in my life that I wished I was an only child! My dad had 3 other kids with his second wife but they are in NSW and so I didn't get to know them until I was around 15.

My brother used to torment me mercilessly when I was growing up, he himself had problems from the way he was treated by our dad and I wish mum had been able to send him to counselling. The current living situation was because mum gave me the money for a deposit on my house and pretty much told me that bro would be living with me. She put it in a way that she didn't want me living alone as I had just broken up with my fiancé and mum was worried I might do something silly, like drink myself into oblivion one too many times. I didn't mind because bro helped around the house but he is the least handy male I have ever met. I have really trizzy gay friends who are handier than he is (The trizzy is what my gay friend calls himself - a trizzy queen. I adore him).

Fortunately bro and I are susceptible to bribery so it generally works out. He promises to put the bins out and I promise not to play music he dislikes. Works well lol!

You mentioned that focussing at the moment is impossible - I understand that completely. Do you have any tips or tricks to help you focus? I am getting really frustrated with myself because my mind will wander at the worst moments so if you have any suggestions I am all ears ❤️

I hope your Monday is going well, are you enjoying the public holiday?
Much love and hugs 🫂
