No need to be sorry @Bow
I'm curious about the stripping process, is that where all the paint and varnish bubbles up and then you scrape it off?

Yes @Ru-bee I paint on a thick paste and wait 5-15mins and the paint and varnish kinda bubbles and then I scrape it off- that bit is kinda satisfying. It’s a bit of a process and it’s messy. I feel like I might be a bit sore tomorrow.
need to give it a wipe down tomorrow, a light sand and then it’s ready to paint.
@tyme no heat thing.
although the paint stripper paste stuff does burn when it gets on your skin. I hate working in gloves so just gotta be careful.

@tyme I’ve finished a kitchen table. I’m currently doing a tv unit. And then I’ve got 6 kitchen chairs, a coffee table, a hall table and a cupboard. Doing all that for us. But am enjoying it so might pick up cheap furniture from market place and do them up and sell them.
Will see how I go.

That's so cool @Bow how'd you learn to do that?
I've always wanted to get into restoring and revamping furniture but it can be so intimidating!
