Re: My Mosaic

Oh that’s hard @Snowie  😞 im sorry

Oh you reminded me of my pineapple! I best get it out lol

you should totally try her with ice cubes. Mum cuts up cucumber and blueberries and puts that in with it too. Do you have aldi down there? They have doggy ice cream! It has peas and carrots in it!

I put the kittens in a little container and then on the scales. But they wriggle too much now so I gotta be so quick to get their numbers.

Re: My Mosaic

Don't get me started on Aldi @Bow 😁 I love it. I always shop there first and then go to coles for anything I can't get there. With 2 kids it saves me money too.

I have seen those dog ice creams but never brought them before.

Will have to try those ice cubes.

Oh I could imagine them in little containers! So cute.

Have never owned a cat before.

Re: My Mosaic

That’s exactly what we do too @Snowie  aldi, then Cole’s and then our fruit and veg shop.

have you always been a dog person? Do you like cats?

we had a family dog growing up. She lived to 18. And then we’ve had a couple of dogs up here too. But I’ve always been a cat person. Was talking to mum the other night about all the cats I’ve had. 7 cats. All boys. We were talking about it cause this mumma cat…. She poos soooo much. Like I’ve never seen a cat poo like her! And was saying maybe it’s a female cat thing? Or maybe a nursing cat thing?

Re: My Mosaic

I'm lucky here that aldi and coles are in the same complex so nice and close to each other.

Even growing up we always had dogs @Bow. My Dad didn't like cats so was never allowed them.

So I guess H and I just continued with dogs. I did have a horse when I was young.

That's a lot of cats hon.

Re: My Mosaic

A horse! @Snowie  You were lucky! I remember entering a competition on the back of a cereal box to win a horse for a year. I had my heart set on winning. I didn’t lol

yeah it is a lot of cats! My first cat I got as a kitten. And then I went to my dad’s for the weekend and he disappeared. Mum panicked cause she knew I would be so upset. So she got me another one. Then the original one turn up again! So I had 2 cats. I can’t remember what happened to them. Then I got my first ginger cat. He sure lives his 9 lives! Bit by a tiger snake, hit by a car and had to have his jaw wired back together. I gave him to my brother when we moved up here. My second ginger cat, custard. I adored him. He was a really special cat and I miss him. He knew when I was having a bad day. I was devastated when I had to put him to sleep. He was riddled with disease at 11yrs old. We had his brother too. The 2 ginger kittens I have at the moment remind me of custard and max soooo much. Then I got a ragdoll. Had him 7yrs and he just disappeared. Didn’t come home. Was a good 12mths later that mum fesses up and knew that he had died. Someone up the road found him on their back porch. Mum didn’t think I could handle knowing that he died. I got my last ginger boy while I still had my ragdoll, I just missed having a ginger cat! But he had many urinary issues. Very common in male cats… a couple of mine had the same issue and needed multiple surgeries! And my ragdoll ate a piece of rubber matting! That was an expensive one! My last ginger Jaffa just became so unwell it was cruel to keep him suffering. So now I just have my foster fail mr groot. And I’ve decided one cat is enough. I’ll just foster more and give them back!

haha that’s my cat journey!

what’s your dogs name? It’s in my head somewhere but just can’t find it

Re: My Mosaic

I love that you remember every single cat you've had @Bow and all about them.

So many good memories.

Fostering them is so good to and so needed. They get a great start in life.

Our dogs name is Izzy. We got her about 7 years ago. Kids had been wanting a dog for ages. Told them we were going to Bunnings but went and picked her up!!! She'll sleep with me or one of the kids.
