Re: My Mosaic

Oh that sounds a lot @tyme  and yes that would have been very noisy with all them kids.

we were out this morning. Mum needed to go to service nsw, there is a massive home depot/ cheap shop next to it, so we went there and then had a cuppa. Then to bunnings. And then to a cool op shop.
I then blobbed

Re: My Mosaic

We must've been out together then blobbed together! I like that terminology "blobbed"! @Bow

Do you have a Costco? It's next level headache for me... after Bunnings.. my head goes round and roudn when I go into Bunnings.

So what I do now is that if I need anything, I order it and pick it up, or I write down the aisle and location, go straight in and straight out. It's the only way I manaage at Bunnings.

Did you get anything cool at the op shop?

Re: My Mosaic

We must’ve @tyme

we have a Costco about 30mins from us but we don’t go. Did for a bit, but always spent more money! The fuel was good and I used that for a while.

I generally like bunnings. I usually like most shops and wandering about. But lately it has been more stressful. I got a couple of things, but mum had a big list!

the op shop. This lady opened it to support the homeless. Things are sooo cheap! Like today I got 3 books (to turn into art), a desk drawer caddy thing, a paint pallet and D got a squishmallow. $3 total. I gave her $5. She really needs a bigger shop!

Re: My Mosaic

Ops shops have amazing things. My sister is an op shopper. I like the things that come from there, but I hate the actual shopping. It's too stressful for me. Actually, I don't like shopping in store in general. If I want something, I get it delievered @Bow  But that's just me.

Ops shops would be sooo great for knick knacks for your craft! I LOVE your craft so much. It's so professionally done.

I'm going to a wedding in August so I hope to get a canvas and cricut a bible verse on it or something.

The cricut is still sitting on my loungeroom floor.

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @rav3n  I’m tired today. Had a bad night.

I also sent my SW this big long text in the middle of the night. And the one thing she picked out of it was feeling alone. 😩 don’t think that was my point 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ anyways.  She was going to come walk and talk with me, she had an hour free. But I was busy.

yes. Tomorrow. Dropping daughter off at her fathers and then mum and I are going to the bookshop.

how are you?

Re: My Mosaic

glad she offered to walk and talk, would've been nice if she had given you an earlier heads up about the offer, hey @Bow

exciting!! hoping you get to add some to your collection tomorrow!!

i'm doing alright, been recharging my social battery in preparation for tonight. i'm going to a horror-themed escape room, there'll be live actors in it. i've been to one before and it was absolutely terrifying (and funny). hoping we'll survive this one!

im sure I will! Hopefully they aren’t too expensive.

oh an escape room that sounds cool. I haven’t done one of them before. Totally get needing to charge your social battery in preparation for it though.
