Re: My special place

No @Jynx

not at all, but it doesn't matter

Re: My special place

Hi @Snowie, just checking in on you. Can you tell me what's going on for you today? ☺️💛

Re: My special place

Sending you lots of tender hugs my sister ❤️ @Snowie

I know it is so hard

To remember it is her sickness,  not mum

I also had to tell myself that mum was going to say something terrible,  and when she did tell me it was not a surprise

And then at home I allowed myself to have a cry and told my husband

Xxxxxxxx

Re: My special place

Hi @AuntGlow

Mum said sorry, but it makes no difference. She thinks just because she said sorry that everything will be ok. She can't take back what she said. The damage is done.

Spent most of the day hiding from her, from others, from myself.

Re: My special place

Good to set boundaries too @Snowie

Not sure when you visit your mum but I used to go every 3rd day

Mum got used to that and she had it marked on her calendar

Re: My special place

Thanks @Shaz51

I've cried lots of tears yesterday and today. Hubby just tells me to ignore it, but that's very hard to do.

I know it's not her, it's her illness. Yet she remembers what she says and said sorry thing morning. So she still knows what she is saying at the time.

Re: My special place

@Shaz51 she still lives with us so there are no boundaries set up. It's a constant every day thing. No days off

Re: My special place

This must be so tough for you @Snowie... I am glad she apologised, but the biggest apology is changed behaviour, isn't it? What could she do differently here? 💕

Re: My special place

Ohh sorry sister @Snowie xxx

Did not realised xx

Yes my mum was home with us until she broke her hip and the doctor put her in hospital permanently

And I am not allowed to say what she weighed on here

Re: My special place

Thinking of you @Shaz51 @Snowie - sounds so rough.

Hugs
