Re: My special place

I'm sorry to hear that you had some bad news today @Snowie

I'm here if you wanted to talk about.

Re: My special place

@tyme bad news seems to come in 3's, or in this case even more.

Just trying to deal with it all at once is hard. Makes me feel very exposed. Makes those thoughts of SI and SH become stronger.

Luckily @Ru-bee and my safety plan have been helping tonight.

Just about to head to bed now. Taken my meds so hopefully they help tonight and I can get some sleep.

I hope you have a good night

Re: My special place

Please take care @Snowie

I'm thinking of you.

Re: My special place

Took mum up the street this morning to get a few things. I know she is taking yesterday's news hard, but no point taking it out on me.

Really trying to be patient with her but struggling to do so.

Can do lots of research, complete a course on Dementia, but it is totally different when you are faced with it.

In other news, my flashbacks have been getting stronger and more frequent. Really trying to distract myself and keep busy, when all I want to do is curl up in bed and pretend like the world doesn't exist. Can only hope.

Re: My special place

Hey @Snowie wanted to stop in after last weekend - and now I see you've been visited by the Bad News Bear. Sounds like stuff with your mum has also reached new heights of stress and with the flashbacks on top of it all? Oof - here if you need to vent hun 💜

Re: My special place

Thanks @Jynx

I've been trying to find the positives, but really struggling to do so. I hope the Bad News Bear can at least take a break.

Been journalling more often lately which has helped a bit. I know bottling it up isn't good so been trying to get my frustrations/thoughts out.

My SP has been getting well used lately. I guess it is there to be used.

Re: My special place

Sending hugs 🫂 @Snowie xxx

Re: My special place

Thanks @Shaz51

How are you going?

Re: My special place

@Snowie Yeah go ruin someone else's picnic!! Silly Bear.

Journalling helps heaps hey - I've taken to 'voice note' journalling, cos my hand can never keep up with my brain 😅

Aye, it's one of those things where I won't say 'Oh I'm so glad to hear it' cos needing to lean on the SP is never a fun time. But it's good that it is working for you.

Hope you don't need to lean too heavily, but we're here for you along the way 💜

Re: My special place

Very tired,  overwhelmed,  aching and lots of pain,  @Snowie

Think I may ask to see another doctor 🤔 @Jynx
