Carers and the NDIS

Carers Australia invites unpaid carers of people with disability who are a participant in the NDIS to complete this questionnaire and give feedback on their experience of the NDIS.

Our aim is to gauge the impact on carer hours, in addition to understanding carer knowledge and participation in pre-planning activities.  More generally, we’d like to capture a broader picture on how the NDIS is impacting on both carers and participants wellbeing around Australia.

Please find the link to the survey below and thank you in advance for participating in our survey.

Carers Australia is the national peak body representing Australia’s carers, advocating on behalf of Australia’s carers to influence policies and services at a national level. It works collaboratively with partners and its member organisations, the network of state and territory Carers Associations, to deliver a range of essential national carer services.

The qualification requirement also differs based on the role you are planning to enter as in the industry. For instance, registered nurses, OTs, and NDIS nurses will have different qualification requirements. These requirements are set up and dictated by the professional bodies through the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme.
There is a bunch of courses you can undertake for attaining the required qualification as per your role. These courses will strengthen your existing skills and will further help you develop skills the specific job requires. Simply, they can unlock many career paths for you
