Re: My Place

What’s the trial @Oaktree

Re: My Place

@tyme

Are you working today?

Just thought I would say hello.

Did your shingles go away?

Are you feeling better now?

I am ok.

Got another assessment in today. Just have a couple of other role plays to go.

Re: My Place

Hey @Oaktree  my dear,

How are you? Hugs to you. I'm so glad to read your post. It seems like the way you are turning these assignments in will mean you'll finish in no time! Is your course 1 year or 1.5 years? With your role plays, do you record them?

And yes, I'm here tonight. My shingles haven't all healed yet. The blisters are scabbing over, but the rash is extremely painful - like my skin is burning. I hope it'll go away soon. So I don't feel 100%, but no complaints here. I'm okay.

Hugs to you @Oaktree  - I've been worried about you.

Re: My Place

Hi @tyme

Because you worked yesterday I wasn’t sure you’d be on today. I sure hope your shingles go away soon. Have you been a bit run down lately?

My course is just 12 months and some role plays are video’d and some are not. I am struggling a lot with anxiety just lately but I am trying to push through. I just need to keep going and not quit because I am feeling overwhelmed. I am ahead of my classmates as far as getting assessments submitted goes so really I am in good shape.

Re: My Place

I don't like the role plays. They stress me out a lot @Oaktree But I believe as part of accreditation, if the org gets audited, they have to be able to prove you've demonstrated those skills and hence the role plays.

Run down? I've been very very stressed lately with things going on in real life. I'm pretty sure that's why I have shingles. But I'm okay. It's forced me to rest up and take time out.

Re: My Place

It's pretty amazing that you are able to complete all those assignments so promptly. I think if you can grin and bear the work for this year, you'll breathe a sigh of relief after. You really are such an inspiration. You've taught me a lot @Oaktree

Re: My Place

@tyme

Sorry that you have been stressed. It’s good that you have been resting more. Hopefully everything settles down soon

Re: My Place

Thanks @tyme

I don’t feel amazing.

I feel stressed, overwhelmed and anxious.

Re: My Place

Yeah, it's hard to feel amazing sometimes, especially when things feel so hard. @Oaktree

But to see how far you have come in such a short time, and the way you tackle those assignments even when you have a lot of things happening in your life, is really something we can all learn from.

I remember when I was at uni, the assignments gave me this subconscious stress that I was always under. It wasn't until I finished uni that I realised this stress I was under. It was like a whole burden had lifted. I have to say though, I enjoyed the uni courses but the assessment deadlines were stressful

I just read that you are on forced leave. I think it will be good for your health but I wanted to tell you that I will miss you. Take care hun
