Re: Living with Ourselves

@tonys

Hello.

Yes my hand awaits your hand.

In the space of this forum we can join hands by our words.

Growing old is about gaining wisdom.

The world presents us with a new day, each day.

Grow as each day is dawned upon us.

Seek and you will find wisdom.

Kind Regards .

Wordman

Re: Living with Ourselves

Yes   well I think in these troubled times we are running out of options.  If the world doesn't soon hold hands and wise up,  our legacy will be the multitudes of  damaged children.

You and me.   All we can do is try and set some sort of example I guess. Go about our tiny lives with our swag of good will  sparkle dust and hope we get it right,   more often than wrong.

Wish you well in your travels @wordman .      tonys

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @Jacques

You have been dealing with so much.

I hope that the intensity of your emotions is lessening.

You are also bravely taking medication which always takes time for your body to adjust to on top of what you are already experiencing.

I imagine that you are exhausted and feeling drained.

Words can be incredible can't they even when they are received this way.

Please be kind to Jacques.

You have achieved much in getting to today.

I am not sleeping still so am also exhausted and drained.

This leaves us in a state where dealing with emotions that arise feels never ending.

One day at a time and sometimes..... one hour or .....15 minutes....

Hope that you can listen to some of that music that you like...

rest...

look at your bike and remind yourself how much you have done to it...

rest...

walk around your home and remind yourself of the incredible amount of renovations that you have achieved...

rest...

be proud...

give yourself some love...kindness....empathy that you always have on offer for your mum

hugs for you also my friend...

I look forward to hearing from you ..

brief messages are good...I know that you are safe...

no pressure to reply

Sophia

time to read my book

Re: Living with Ourselves

Thank you for remembering me...

@StuF

I will check it out soon..

A bit of homework on here...

hello @Sophia1 😊

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @tonys

Well thank you kind sir for a pocket full of bright new shiny, energy coins...

I wasn't sure where to look for them...

now I know that they have to be given...

Nervous frailty.... No definitely not me....Have neither....somehow I do not think that these are your words though Tonys...

I am becoming stronger as the years pass...

I am still learning and will never stop...

I am now looking after myself first and allow myself space...

Yes I appear out of the blue...

why not...

That is what suits me best..

I can still offer support....

reply to those who have thought of me....

send messages to those who are a long time part of my experience on the forums...

Reply to anyone who has written to me thanking them...

What one person sees as "a disorder" .....that is another dreadful term.... monopolised within the medical field.....

Another looks a little closer and sees strength and a glowing light...

I hope that your recovery is continuing and you are starting to feel as though you have some of Tonys returning...

I think so from some of your responses to others..

Look after you also...as you spread your moon dust around the forums......

Take care

Sophia

Hello @Shaz51

Thank you for all of your tags all over forums at varying times.....those that I have missed...

I hope that You are managing....I read that you have retired now...

More time for Shaz to have some rest....your body needs it as you already know..

Mr Shaz hopefully is settling with his new medication....even if he doesn't like it...

He would love having more time with you...

I hope that you can have time for even small outings to new places even if close by..

time together...

picnics are fun and are not costly...

Shake the blanket...

No washing up!..

hugs to you both
