@TAB cinnamon scrolls! They are delectable. I have a recipe and the ingredients to make them, just haven't done it yet. I should get off my keister and make some.

I miss the good old jam donuts. Those sugar coated buns with jam in them. They never put enough jam in anymore! Gawd I'm getting old and crotchety! Lol!

I just spent 5 minutes on my mini cycle, thought yeah 5 mins is nothing. 35 years of smoking and sedentary lifestyle....5 minutes...it felt like 5 hours that last minute! 🤣

@Oaktree happy birthday hubby 🎂🎉. Bad news about your fence, I hope it's not too hard to get fixed. I always get a little tense whenever storms hit. My back fence is being held together with gaffa tape and prayers so I know how you feel. Hopefully you'll be able to get it back up soon. Hugs Oak, you're in my thoughts and prayers xo

well it must be working re mini cycle @ENKELI  these ones didnt have cinnamon just jam inside swirls and icing on top.

sounds like a kitchener bun aka a Berliner (donut)

in SA its like a softball size , cut in middle w jam and cream and sugar all over it

Idiscovered can make them @ home really cheaty. Plain english muffin zapin microwave ,put butter on outside then sugar (caster) I used 'light' sour cream still 30% fat and raspberry jam or plum just a big soft sugar coated mess full of jam and cream ..lol

prob 2/3rds size re hand real ones way bigger

Yes what I call jam donut is a Berliner. I've got a friend with a family bakery and they make them. The bakery is about an hours' drive from me but well worth the drive. They won 1st prize for best meat pie for several years at the Royal Show. I know why too lol!

If I keep at the mini cycle then I can try your donut creation without guilt tee hee hee!
