@TAB I am of the view that if it tastes good, it doesn't matter what it looks like! You're definitely better than my bro, I am sure he lived on 2 minute noodles and frozen dinners before I moved back in. He takes laziness to the extreme, slack bugger. And yet he still manages to cook steak and chops perfectly. I think it's God's way of compensating for his downfalls as a slacker!

rotten run of luck. It’s got to end soon. The fact that I slept better has made things more. Bearable. Hanging out for mechanic to call or come back.

@GezzaP It took me a while to get to sleep but I only woke up once during the night, cold is finally getting better. My ears are still blocked which is annoying. Do you have special pillows? I got mine from Canningvale, the same place I get my sheets. I am used to high thread count now and find it hard to sleep on thin sheets now. Back when I had money I bought up on bedlinen, thankfully it lasts forever. I am thinking about getting new pillows myself, mine are a few years old now and they say you should replace them ever couple of years.

I hope you get your new pillows at a good price.

Yes something is definitely going on for you @GezzaP it must be so hard for you to tolerate on your own. Its just not fair is it? Just keep fixing and revising this until youre in the clear. You got 6 hours last night which is good but these situations certainly dont help your situation. I'm so sorry everything is not working out for you the way you would expect. You could ring your bank and maybe ask if you do a credit ban request with Experian.com.au. You dont want identity theft. Check out Experian. I wrote down their name after reading about identity theft. It can stop anyone using your name to take out credit

@TAB lino was all the rage in the 70's wasn't it? The house we lived in when we moved to Perth had lino in the kitchen, along with orange bench tops. We used to call it Telecom Gold as it was the same colour as the old Telecom logo. 

Mum got Pegulan flooring, supposed to be "luxury" flooring and I must admit it has lasted nearly 30 years. She got traditional black and white squares and the white is still white. If I do go vinyl I will probably go Pegulan too.
