@Leeanne1 - I think I finally have it now....
How long have you been going through parental alienation? Only if you want to share -
My daughters were 7 and 12 when I ex-husband kidnapped them and disappeared - despite what the court said.... useless attorney, so I lost my funding and that was the end of my life essentially... 10 years of daily grief. I am hanging on by a thread today.

My children went in to Forster care when my youngest daughter was one year ago. I tried for along time to get the back but after a while my husband ruined it for me then 8 years ago he got dementia and started lying to the children. He died a year ago .but my children still don't speak to me and I have grandchildren 😞

@Leeanne1 I feel your pain ..... my daughters were only 7 and 12 when my ex-husband kidnapped them and disappeared.... so they are 17 and 22 now and I have missed so many firsts - precious moments I will never get back.
You don't often hear of this happening to women - it is usually the men that deal with this .... I worked with children for a couple of years through the first years of COVID19, the amount of women that were lying just to get additional funding - a disgrace that it was allowed. Majority of them were lying about everything - attention seeking women ... but the children are the ones that suffer.
You do not have to tell me - but were you ever able to move on - I just withdrew into myself .... never did relationships or friendships again - thanks to major trust issues... my life has effectively been on hold for 10 years.

It's not easy when your separated from your children I find it hard to expect that they won't talk to me. Sorry for what you have gone through

@Leeanne1 - I think that he told my daughters that I have died ...
TW: threats of violence
having just arrived in Australia I had no idea what to do .... I have tried going through the courts, police etc in the past 10 years - and nobody even believes me.... only my psychologist - but because she deals with this all the time. He deleted social media completely as well.

@Sadness2015 I have added a trigger warning to your post. Nothing you need to do, just letting you know! Also totally fine to let our lovely @Leeanne1 know where you're from, we just ask members keep details minimal - i.e. just share what state you live in, or the closest major city, as opposed to specific place names. Part of our anonymity guideline 😊
Let us know if you have any questions or concerns! Really glad to see you both being able to connect - and I wanted to send some gentle hugs, too!
